Mike and his family moved to Dupont in October 2005 when he became the pastor of Temple Baptist Church in Fircrest. Like many others in this community, the Roberts were drawn here for the small town atmosphere, the great school system and the affordability of housing.

Pastor Mike received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio and his Masters of Divinity degree from Northwest Baptist Seminary in Tacoma, Washington. Prior to serving at TBC, Mike pastored for 10 years in Colville, Washington.

As a pastor he has a passion for seeing the truth of God’s word transform people’s lives. Around the Roberts’ home you’ll often find Mike making lattes, playing with his kids or helping MaryAnn with the basic household chores.

Until recently, MaryAnn was a stay at home mom, but has begun working as an Education Assistant at Chloe Clark and became a student at Pierce College to work toward a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. Mike and MaryAnn have two children, Joel and Kaylee, who are active in sports, enjoy playing Wii and just hanging out with their family and friends.
